Peaches, pears and tomatoes. Yes, mom and grandma bottled a lot of fruit in these old jars. But it didn’t stop there, I remember jars of S & H Green and Gold stamps, jars of old buttons, and grandpa’s jar of marbles... I have mine too, don’t you?
Old jars, some with glass lids and lack-luster stout metal rings,
have been, and may continue to be, a significant part of our human
experience. The blue ones are just a little extra special.
