As a sponsor for the Eden Balloon Festival in Ogden Valley this year, I painted this image for the balloon pilot Thayne Peterson. The festival was beautiful and inspiring as usual. A couple of our kids got to go for a balloon ride, and they loved it.
 
The reference image I used for this painting was taken by photographer Doug Sims, a close friend of Thayne Peterson.
