This is the second painting I have done of this doll. The doll evokes very different moods and emotions when placed in different lighting and positions. One of the many things I like about this painting is the implication and feeling of motion created by the angling of the face, arms, hands and dress to our right. I find it intriguing, as though the image continuously has more to offer, if we will pay attention. It makes me feel happy.
