This little portrait is of my darling niece Abbey, who truly is dear.
The moment is on an Easter morning just before going out to hunt eggs.

Here, in a warm yellow shirt, shoulder in profile facing to our right, we see Abbey in a head and shoulder view. She has her face turned almost at a 3/4 angle toward the viewer. Her dark beautiful eyes gaze in the same direction. A string of small pink flowers hang down from around her neck.

Light from a window warms the far side of her face, and allows us to see that her dark, short hair is brown.
