Fresh Cut Hay | 7”x 5” | Greeting Card

From where I was living at the time, this is the view to the north from the front lawn, across a field of freshly cut alfalfa laying in rows.
 
Beyond the field is a line of trees stretching all the way from the left to the right along Middle Inlet Creek. Beyond the trees is the mountain face locals call Seven Sisters due to the number of ridges across its face.
 
For the mountain to be this green, it has to be a wet spring. Above the mountain is a colorful but mostly cloudless sky.
