As a gift to his wife, who has been mourning the loss of an infant child for years, Kris lovingly commissioned this painting of his wife praying for their little daughter and for personal comfort. Here, their little girl appears and comforts her mother, letting her know all is well.

After the painting was complete and presented to the couple, they were surprised and delighted to find that the young girl (my niece) I had used as a model for the painting, had unknowingly held her right hand in just the same position their own surviving children tended to hold their hands when they were a bit nervous.

This painting is a significant addition to their lives.
I appreciate having been part of this special experience.
