While still an undergraduate student at Weber State University, The Visual Arts Department received a call seeking someone who could do a portrait painting. They referred Karen to me and we got together to do this portrait and another portrait of their terrific dog Ginger, also shown on this website.

These portraits were done early in my painting career while I was working mostly in pastel.
