Out Buildings

Out Buildings | 12”x 9” | Oil on Canvas Panel

Here we have a lovely little scene, which is common to small US towns. These out buildings are just a few blocks from my studio. There is beauty in a lawn that is a bit over grown and striped with blue shadows. While the variety of darker trees give a nice backdrop to the white-washed sheds, I also like the uncut dried weeds near the barbed-wire fence line.
