Super-Man

My son, while in his late teens was cliff diving with friends at Lake Powell in Southern Utah. He wanted me to paint a painting from a photograph he had from the Lake Powell trip.

When I got around to doing the painting, it occured to me that my son’s favorite super hero is Superman, and that it would be fun to paint his body in Superman’s outfit. I didn’t ask my son, I just did it. He was very happy with the painting.

Now every morning as he begins his day, he gets the big visual pick-me-up of seeing himself as Superman. He can go out and conquer anything. So much for humility... we’ll take the super power of self confidence.
