This vibrantly colorful seen shows our neighbors tool shed bathed in early evening sunlight. Deep, yet rich shadows stripe the field and its edges. There is a lot to enjoy in this little painting, from the shadows being cast from tool handles onto the shed, to the water wheel line, the vibrant green field, the sage brush in the foreground, the two trees as well as the foot hills and more distant mountain.
