Three Poplars (greeting card)

This is a nice little summertime landscape. Looking North across two fields there is a distant line of trees, but closer there are a group of Poplar trees. Even as a child, Poplar trees have been part of the landscape of my life. I have fond feelings for them, as though they are a tie of some sort between me and my pioneer ancestors. They are tall and narrow, often in rows along a property line. Some are full and green, as they are in this painting, others are half skeletal and still others are all bare bones. I love them all
