There are few souls so dear to my heart as this little girl, my most cherished little Emma. Here we see her engaged as the Young Artist inventing her scene as she paints, just as a truly creative artist is want to do. No fear of failure nor of the critic, she is very naturally in “the zone”.

Both light and shadow play their roles wonderfully in this tenderly magnificent scene.
