Artist Bio

Mark’s work covers a broad range of genre in Portraiture, Figurative, Still Life and Landscape painting. Although Mark did not begin painting until age 47, he is an accomplished local, regional and international award-winning artist.

​

Mark’s paintings have a natural feel of light, color, form, and atmosphere. As a representational painter, Mark works in a naturalistic style, both realistic and painterly. He likes the brush stroke to be visible, the hand of the artist evident.

​

Mark earned his Master of Fine Arts Degree at the renowned Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, (PAFA), 2011, and completed a one-year Post Baccalaureate program at PAFA, 2009. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Weber State University, 2007.

​

Mark’s studio is in downtown Huntsville, Utah, where he paints prolifically and teaches painting classes to a limited number of adult students weekly. For more information about painting classes, please contact Mark..
